You want someone to tell you what to eat, how much to eat and when to eat. You’re looking for someone to “fix” you and your struggles with food and are always seeking that magic pill! You KNOW that there is someone who can save you from yourself (it’s just not you).
Your cousin’s friend’s coworker just lost weight by drinking shakes made with a little-known magical herb found deep in the rainforest AND fat-burning wraps to target that pesky belly fat. You really want to try that for 30 days because you STILL believe that there is a quick fix in your future.
You want to keep up your best habit: talking about food. New diet, what you can eat, your best app for tracking, what food groups are on the “bad” list (today anyway). You haven’t alienated everyone you know and isolated yourself enough with your food obsession so you’re definitely going to keep it up.
You like punishing yourself for failing. What better way to punish yourself than to try the same things over and over. Dieting! Restricting! Tracking! Measuring! No sugar this week!
